buddy gone, still making news

Poor Buddy can’t catch a break.  Buddy Johnson was defeated by Phyllis Busanksy in the November elections.  But for some reason, he continues to show up in the newspaper.

Apparently, Buddy signed Kathy Harris to a term that exceeded his own employment, sticking Busansky with the bill.

Then Busansky found uncounted ballots from Temple Terrace, which may have affected the outcome in the race for Temple Terrace city council.  We are waiting to see if David Penoyer will file suit to have those votes counted.

Then, the St. Pete Times found that Buddy has attempted to be reimbursed twice for the same expenses, and that under his watch, the SOE office spent DOUBLE the money on advertising than four other counties combined!

Buddy is trying to quit hogging the spotlight, but the pesky newspapers won’t let him stay low – we hear he won’t even enjoy lunch at his brother’s restaurant.  He’s probably looking for a job, so if you want to hire him, you can contact him through the Buddy Johnson Facebook page.

I notice you can’t leave a comment on Buddy’s Facebook page to tell him what you really think.

Buddy has a Facebook page? Wonder how much he tried to charge the taxpayers for that!

He hired a consultant to study the Facebook issue and billed the county.

I think Buddy will go away awhile as a guest of the state when the investigation results come in. IF he isn’t immunized by the old boys club, that is.
